Over the past decade, demand for anthracite has grown significantly, with a 148.6% increase since 2008. In 2018, Ghana was the 96th largest importer of anthracite, falling below Senegal, which imported 20,600 kilograms. South Korea, Japan and Russia were the second, third and fourth largest importers of anthracite respectively.
