China, India and Thailand respectively took 2nd, 3rd and 4th places in this ranking. Vietnam's Anthracite imports are expected to reach 4.1 billion kilograms by 2026, according to a recent report. This is up from the 3.3 billion kilograms imported in 2021 and an average annual increase of 3.9%. Since 2006, imports have decreased by 8.8% year on year. South Korea, Japan and Russia were the top three importers. Exports of anthracite from Vietnam have surged in recent years. In 2017, exports reached 2.0 billion kilograms, up from 1.1 billion kilograms in 2016 - an increase of 81.1%. However, since 2005, exports have decreased by 32.9%. China, India and Thailand were the top three exporters.
