Greece was the top importer, followed by South Korea, Japan and Russia. Ireland's exports of anthracite dropped by 53.6% in 2018 compared to 2017, totalling 17,200 kilograms. This is a 9.6% decrease since 2001. The UK was the top exporter, followed by Japan, South Korea and Russia.
