In 2021, Hungary imported 211,540 kilograms of anthracite - an 81.3% decrease compared to 2020. This was the lowest level of imports since 1998, when the country's demand declined by 43.1%. Myanmar topped the list of countries importing anthracite to Hungary in 2021, with 211,540 kilograms. South Korea, Japan and Russia followed in second, third and fourth place, respectively. Since 2005, Hungary's anthracite imports have decreased by 26.6%.
