The country was ranked fifth in 2021, with Russia at the top with 3.9 billion kilograms. South Korea, Japan, and Russia came in second, third and fourth, respectively. Ukraine's anthracite exports drastically decreased from 61.1 million kilograms in 2017 to 120,000 kilograms in 2018, a 99.8% year-on-year decrease. Since 2001, supply has dropped by 88.7%.
