Bahraini Anthracite imports are forecasted to rise to nearly 39 million kilograms by 2026, after reaching 31.2 million kilograms in 2021. This marks an annual growth rate of 3.7% according to the Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR). Since 2005, however, the country's demand has decreased by 10.4% on an annual basis. In 2021, Bahrain ranked 40th in terms of Anthracite imports, with Australia taking the lead at 31.2 million kilograms. South Korea, Japan and Russia followed in second, third and fourth place respectively.
