Uganda ranked 18th in 2021, while Somalia was higher with 67,730 deaths. India, Pakistan and the Democratic Republic of the Congo were second, third and fourth in the ranking. Immunisation coverage for Ugandan children aged 12-23 months was close to 97% in 2021, up 2.1% from 95% in 2020. Since 1986, the figure has increased 0.9% year-on-year. Uganda was ranked 45th in 2021, with Botswana ahead at 97%. Greece, Mongolia and Latvia were second, third and fourth in the ranking.
