Child mortality in Ivory Coast is projected to decrease by 3,420 deaths by 2026. In 2021, the country came in 17th place with 66,740 deaths, behind Afghanistan, which had 69,740 deaths. India, Pakistan and the Democratic Republic of the Congo ranked second, third and fourth respectively. Immunisation coverage for children aged 12-23 months in Ivory Coast is expected to rise to 92% by 2026, up from 87% in 2021. Since 1989, the country has remained at the same level, ranking 130th in 2021, behind Guinea-Bissau. Greece, Mongolia and Latvia came in second, third and fourth respectively.
