Child mortality in Austria is set to decrease by 1.1% annually over the next five years. In 2021, the country had 313 deaths, ranking 133rd overall. Immunisation coverage for Austrian children aged 12 to 23 months is expected to fall by 0.5 points each year, from 85% in 2021 to 83% in 2026. Since 1985, the rate has been decreasing by 0.5 points annually. In 2021, the country ranked 142nd, with Djibouti ahead at 85%. Greece, Mongolia and Latvia came in second, third and fourth respectively.
