Child mortality and immunisation coverage in Oman is on the rise. By 2026, it is estimated that there will be 1,010 deaths and 99 percent of children aged 12-23 months will be immunised. Since 1973, Omani demand for both has jumped by 0.6 percent year on year. In 2021, the country was 112th in child mortality and 6th in child immunisation coverage. Malaysia, Greece, Mongolia and Latvia were the countries that came ahead in the ranking.
