Container traffic in Brazil is expected to reach nearly 12 million Twenty-Foot Equivalent Units by 2026. Last year, it hit 10.8 million, representing a 1.4% annual growth rate since 2005. This puts Brazil in 15th place in the global rankings. Belgium, however, recently surpassed the country, with 10.7 million Twenty-Foot Equivalent Units in 2021. The United States, Singapore and South Korea are in the top four positions.
