Container traffic in Russia is set to grow at an average rate of 2% year on year over the next five years, reaching 5.8 million Twenty-Foot Equivalent Units (TEUs) by 2026. This is up from 5.1 million TEUs in 2021, when Russia ranked 31st in the world. Morocco was the top-ranked nation, with the US, Singapore and South Korea coming in second, third and fourth respectively. Since 2005, Russian container traffic has increased by 5.3% year on year.
