Goat production in Rwanda is set to rise to around 300,000 heads by 2026. This is a growth of 1.1% per year since 1966. Last year, Rwanda was ranked number 50 in the world with 280,800 heads. Vietnam was ahead of Rwanda, followed by China, Nigeria and Pakistan in the top four.
