Goat production in Jordan is expected to decline marginally in the next five years. Figures from 2021 showed that the country produced 71,150 heads, down 6.2% from the previous year. Jordan ranked 83rd in the list of top goat producers, behind Kyrgyzstan at 82nd position. The top three goat producers are China, Nigeria and Pakistan. By 2026, Jordanian goat production is predicted to reach 68,590 heads, a decrease of 0.6% from 2021.
