Exports of Salvadoran artwork fell 9.3% in 2021, to $16,650 - slipping behind Malawi to 107th place in the world rankings. This is 1.2% less than the same figure in 1999. The UK, Switzerland and France took the top three spots. Import of Salvadoran artwork is set to drop by 0.8% annually to $162,410 by 2026. This year, it stands at $165,070 - placing the country 104th in the rankings, just behind Nigeria. The UK, Switzerland and the UAE are the biggest importers.
