Chilean polystyrene import is projected to increase by 1.6% year-on-year up to 2026, reaching 15,094,000 kilograms. This is a rise from 13,497,000 kilograms recorded in 2021. Since 1996, however, Chilean demand has declined by 4.7% annually. Meanwhile, Chilean polystyrene export is set to drop by 8.5% year-on-year on average up to 2026, with the figure expected to reach 1,209,400 kilograms. This is a reduction from 1,978,800 kilograms recorded in 2021. Since 1998, Chilean supply has declined by 16.3% year-on-year. In 2021, India overtook Chile in the ranking, with 1,978,800 kilograms. China, the Netherlands, and France respectively were numbers 2, 3 and 4 in this ranking.
