In 2021, Kazakhstan was ranked 37th in the world, surpassed by Lebanon. China, the Netherlands, and France held the top three spots. Meanwhile, the country's import of polystyrene is forecast to reach 7.7 million kilograms by 2026, up from 7.1 million kilograms in 2021. This is despite a slight 0.4% year-on-year decrease since 2006. China, Russia, and the Netherlands held the top three positions in the rankings.
