Croatia's polystyrene import is set to increase by 1.4% year on year between 2021 and 2026, reaching nearly 10 million kilograms. This follows a steady decline since 1997, when the country reported a drop of 1.2% annually. At the same time, demand for Croatian polystyrene has fallen 57.2% year on year since 1997. In 2018, Croatia ranked 70th in the world for polystyrene imports, with Togo coming in ahead at 834.6 kilograms. China, the Netherlands, and France followed in second, third, and fourth place respectively.
