This is in contrast to the upward trend since 2012, when the export had increased by 7.8% year on year. The UAE currently ranks 33rd globally in terms of polystyrene exports. The UK overtook it in 2021, having exported 619,350 kilograms. China, the Netherlands and France follow respectively at second, third and fourth.
