Lebanon's demand for polystyrene is forecast to fall by 0.4% year on year from 2021 to 2026. Last year, the country imported 1.63 million kilograms of polystyrene, down 6.8% from 2002. Exports of polystyrene from Lebanon are expected to increase by an average of 3.7% year on year from 2021 to 2026. In 2021, the country exported 414,000 kilograms, 8% lower than in 2002. Last year, Lebanon was ranked 36th in exports, while Switzerland was the top exporter at 327,500 kilograms. China, the Netherlands and France followed in second, third and fourth places, respectively.
