Egyptian propylene imports are projected to reach around 105 million kilograms by 2026, up from 84 million kilograms in 2021. This is an average annual growth rate of 3.5%. Since 2007, consumption of propylene in Egypt has grown by nearly 16%. In 2021, Egypt ranked 15th in the world for propylene imports, behind Japan at 84 million kilograms. Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands followed in that order.
