The import of propylene in Tanzania skyrocketed by 164.8 percent in 2017 compared to the previous year. A total of 3,010 kilograms was imported, compared to only 1,140 kilograms in 2016. Since 2003, however, Tanzanian demand for the product has decreased by 28 percent year on year.
