Mexico is set to become the seventh-largest importer of propylene by the end of 2026. The country imported 285.7 million kilograms of the chemical in 2021, and is expected to grow 3.3% each year on average, reaching 353.2 million kilograms by the end of 2026. Since 1995, Mexico's demand for propylene has grown 8.8% annually. Colombia was the top importer in 2021, followed by Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands.
