Sweden's import of propylene is set to reach 3.2 million kilograms by 2026, a 5.3% drop from 4.3 million kilograms in 2021. Since 2004, Swedish propylene demand has risen 4.1% each year. Portugal was the top importer in 2021 at 4.3 million kilograms, followed by Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands. In 2017, Sweden exported 5.2 million kilograms of propylene, a 65.6% decrease from 14.9 million kilograms in 2016. Since 2003, supply has dropped 25.7% annually. Greece was the biggest exporter in 2017 at 5.2 million kilograms, followed by Japan, the Netherlands and the United States.
