Belgian propylene exports fell by 27% in 2021 compared to the year before, totalling 29.5 million kilograms. This was the lowest level since 2004, when exports decreased by 23%. Belgium ranked 23rd in the export rankings, with Romania coming first with 29.5 million kilograms. Japan, the Netherlands and the United States came in second, third and fourth respectively. Belgian propylene imports are predicted to fall by 0.4% year on year and reach 677.5 million kilograms by 2026. Since 2004, imports have decreased by 3% year on year. Germany came first with 683.7 million kilograms, with Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands following closely in second, third and fourth place.
