Thai demand for propylene is set to fall 22.1% year on year between 2021 and 2026. This is a major shift from the 13.5% year on year growth rate the country has experienced since 1993. In 2021, Serbia overtook Thailand to become the 28th largest importer of propylene, with 6.6 million kilograms. Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands followed in second, third and fourth place respectively. Thai supply of propylene is set to grow 2.2% year on year between 2021 and 2026. Since 2001, the country has seen an average growth rate of 1.8% year on year. In 2021, Italy was the world's ninth largest exporter, shipping out 23.1 million kilograms. Japan, the Netherlands and the United States followed in second, third and fourth place respectively.
