Egypt's ABS imports are projected to reach nearly 32 million kilograms by 2026, growing an average of 2.3% annually since 2021. In 2021, Egypt ranked 23rd in imports, with the Netherlands topping the list with 27.4 million kilograms. Germany, the United States and Thailand came in at second, third and fourth, respectively. Egyptian ABS exports saw a dramatic increase of 83.4% from 2017 to 2018, when the country was ranked 57th in the world. Bosnia and Herzegovina led the rankings with 16.7 thousand kilograms, followed by Belgium, Malaysia and the Netherlands. Since 2009, Egyptian exports have decreased by 10.7% each year.
