Germany is set to be the second largest consumer of ABS by 2026, with an expected import volume of over 300 million kilograms. This is a 4.4% increase from what was recorded in 1996. From 2021 to 2026, the country is expected to see an annual growth rate of 1.8%. In terms of exports, Germany is projected to reach 111 million kilograms by 2026. This is a 0.4% year-on-year increase since 2014. In 2021, Thailand overtook Germany to become the largest exporter of ABS, with 106.4 million kilograms. Belgium, Malaysia and the Netherlands were ranked second, third and fourth respectively.
