Chilean ABS imports are set to decrease over the next five years. By 2026, imports are forecast to reach 1.6 million kilograms, down 2.3% per year on average since 2021. This would be a decrease of 2.9% compared to 1996. In 2021, Chile ranked 53rd, with imports of 1.8 million kilograms. Bosnia and Herzegovina was ahead with 1.8 million kilograms, while Germany, the United States and Thailand came in second, third and fourth, respectively. Chilean ABS exports showed significant growth between 2014 and 2015, rising to 875 kilograms from 129.66 kilograms. This placed Chile at 65th in the global ranking. Argentina was ahead with 875 kilograms, while Belgium, Malaysia and the Netherlands came in second, third and fourth, respectively.
