Mexican ABS exports are projected to reach 51.4 million kilograms by 2026, a slight decrease of 0.1% on average each year since 2021. Since 1995, the country’s supply has increased 3.4% year on year. In 2021, Mexico was the 12th largest exporter, while Italy held the top spot with 50.9 million kilograms. Belgium, Malaysia and the Netherlands followed in second, third and fourth place respectively. Imports of ABS into Mexico are expected to reach 131.6 million kilograms by 2026, growing 0.6% annually since 2021. Since 1995, the country’s demand for the product has risen 0.6% year on year. In 2021, Thailand was the largest importer, with 125.2 million kilograms, and Mexico came in fifth. Germany, the United States and Thailand took the second, third and fourth spots respectively.
