South African ABS exports also registered a decrease of 12.2% year on year in 2021, amounting to 15,000 kilograms. Since 2005, exports have decreased by 30% on average each year. In 2021, South Africa occupied 58th place in global exports, with Macedonia leading the way at 15,000 kilograms. Belgium, Malaysia and the Netherlands followed in second, third and fourth place respectively.
