Australia's ABS imports are expected to drop to just under 6.9 million kilograms by 2026, according to figures released today. This is a decrease of 2.8% compared to 2021, when imports reached 8 million kilograms. Since 1993, imports have fallen by an average of 4.8% each year. Switzerland was the top exporter to Australia in 2021, followed by Germany, the United States, and Thailand. In 2021, ABS exports were just 447.86 kilograms, a drop of 98.6% from the previous year. Since 1993, exports have declined by 73.6%. Ecuador was the largest exporter of ABS to Australia in 2021, followed by Belgium, Malaysia, and the Netherlands.
