Since 2001, imports have grown 4.6 percent year-on-year. Bulgaria came in 44th place in 2021, with Ukraine in the lead at 4.9 million kilograms. Germany, the United States and Thailand followed respectively. Over the same time period, Bulgarian ABS exports are expected to reach 354,000 kilograms by 2026, up from 285,000 kilograms in 2021 - a 3.4 percent annual growth rate. Since 2001, exports have grown 21.9 percent year-on-year. Bulgaria was 40th in 2021, with Belarus in the lead at 285,000 kilograms. Belgium, Malaysia and the Netherlands followed respectively.
