Processed vegetable consumption is projected to decline slightly over the next five years, according to recent data. By 2028, consumption is set to reach approximately 1.12 billion kilograms, down from about 1.15 billion kilograms in 2023. This marks an average annual decrease of 0.4%. Despite this overall decline, demand for processed vegetables had previously been on the rise, growing by 0.3% year on year. In the international rankings, Germany, Spain, and the Netherlands hold the second, third, and fourth positions, respectively, in terms of processed vegetable consumption.
