European consumption of processed vegetables is set to reach nearly 8 billion kilograms by 2026. This is a slight 0.3% year-on-year growth, having risen by 0.7% since 2016. France was the largest consumer of vegetables in 2021, with 2.2 billion kilograms. Germany, Spain and the Netherlands followed, ranking second, third and fourth respectively. Poland experienced the highest growth of all countries, at 7.5% year-on-year since 2016. Slovakia, however, saw the biggest decrease, at 4.5% year-on-year.
