In 2021, Colombia was 26th in the world rankings, with Mexico taking the lead at 1.2 million kilograms. The Netherlands, Saudi Arabia and South Korea followed in second, third and fourth place respectively. Colombian styrene import is expected to grow by 0.5% annually to 117 million kilograms by 2026. Since 1996, it has increased by 1% each year. In 2021, Brazil led the way with 111.9 million kilograms, and Colombia was 14th in the rankings. South Korea, India and Mexico were the runner-ups, in second, third and fourth places.
