Canadian exports of styrene are expected to reach 562 million kilograms by 2026, a slight decrease of 0.1% per year. Since 1994, this figure has grown by 1.2% each year. Canada came in sixth place in 2021, behind Singapore which exported 555.6 million kilograms. The Netherlands, Saudi Arabia and South Korea ranked second, third and fourth respectively. Imports of styrene to Canada rose sharply in 2019, reaching 1.5 million kilograms, up 97.1% compared to the previous year. Since 1994, imports have dropped by 25.7% annually. Canada placed 49th in 2019, with Lithuania leading the way at 1.5 million kilograms. South Korea, India and Mexico occupied the second, third and fourth spots respectively.
