Ireland is set to see a 4% rise in styrene exports over the next five years, with figures growing from 33,280 Kilograms in 2021 to 42,740 Kilograms in 2026. This marks an average year-on-year growth of 27.7% since 2012. In 2021, Ireland ranked 38th in the world for styrene exports, with Tunisia coming in ahead with 33,280 Kilograms. The Netherlands, Saudi Arabia and South Korea came in second, third and fourth respectively. Styrene imports to Ireland, however, are set to drop 6.5% over the next five years, from 61,270 Kilograms in 2021 to 42,050 Kilograms in 2026. Since 1997, Irish demand has decreased by 19.6% year on year. Ireland ranked 70th in the world in 2021, with Lebanon overtaking at 61,270 Kilograms. South Korea, India and Mexico respectively came in second, third and fourth.
