Greek styrene imports are expected to reach 88.1 million kilograms by 2026, up from 82.4 million kilograms in 2021. This amounts to an average growth of 0.9% per year since 1993. In 2021, Greece was ranked 17th globally, while Hungary placed higher with 82.4 million kilograms. South Korea, India and Mexico were ranked second, third and fourth, respectively. Meanwhile, Greek styrene exports totalled 42,970 kilograms in 2019, down from 108,380 kilograms in 2018 – a decrease of 60.4% year on year. Since 1993, exports have grown by 157.8% annually. In 2019, Austria topped the rankings with 42,970 kilograms, followed by the Netherlands, Saudi Arabia and South Korea.
