Hungary's styrene exports are set to reach 28,390 kilograms by 2026, growing at a rate of 2.8% year-on-year. The figure has almost tripled since 2009, with the country coming in 39th place in 2021. Ireland overtook Hungary that year with 23,740 kilograms. The Netherlands, Saudi Arabia and South Korea were the second, third and fourth largest exporters, respectively. In terms of imports, Hungary is set to reach 99,643,000 kilograms by 2026, staying stable year-on-year. Since 1997, the country's demand has decreased by 2.1%. Poland overtook Hungary in 2021 with 98,043,000 kilograms. South Korea, India and Mexico were the second, third and fourth largest importers, respectively.
