Singaporean styrene export is predicted to reach 625 million kilograms by 2026. This is a 0.1% increase each year on average since 2005. South Korea led in 2021 with 614 million kilograms, and Singapore came in at number five. The Netherlands, Saudi Arabia and South Korea followed in second, third and fourth place respectively. Meanwhile, Singaporean styrene import decreased by 21.4% in 2018, down to 467,600 kilograms from 595,240 kilograms in 2017. Since 2005, Singaporean demand has grown by 31.7% yearly. In 2018, Algeria was ahead of Singapore at number one with 467,600 kilograms, and South Korea, India and Mexico followed in second, third and fourth place.
