Kuwait is set to become a major importer of styrene in the next five years. According to estimates, the country's imports of the chemical compound are projected to reach 6.6 million kilograms by 2026, representing an average annual growth rate of 4.7%. Since 2011, Kuwaiti demand has jumped by a whopping 18.3% each year. In 2021, the country ranked 36th, with Portugal coming in at the top with 4.9 million kilograms. South Korea, India and Mexico rounded out the top four, respectively.
