Hungary is set to become a major exporter of dried fruit in the coming years. The country's import and export of dried fruit will reach $10.5 million and $7.7 million respectively by 2026. This is an increase of 2.1% and 2.3% year on year from 2021. In 2021, Hungary ranked 42nd in imports and 34th in exports. Lithuania, Germany, the United Kingdom, China, Bulgaria, the United States and Chile were the top countries in this ranking. Since 1997, Hungary's demand for dried fruit has grown by 3.7%, with supply increasing by 1.5%.
