The trend of declining demand is not new for Cameroon. Since 2000, the country's juice import demand has been falling by nearly 10% each year. In contrast, Cameroon's juice exports saw a modest increase in recent years. In 2017, exports reached about $101,000, up from $96,000 in 2016, marking a 4% rise. However, this growth comes against a backdrop of a long-term downward trend. Since 2001, the supply of juice for export has decreased by 27% annually.
