Key Market Indicators
Belgian juice sales are projected to decline slightly over the next five years, reaching approximately €93 million by 2028 from nearly €95 million in 2023. In the 2023 rankings, Belgium placed 12th, with Greece leading at nearly €95 million. Spain, Poland, and Italy followed in the second, third, and fourth positions, respectively. Belgium's juice import market is also expected to see a downturn. By 2028, imports are forecasted to fall to around $817 million from approximately $847 million in 2023, marking an average annual decline of 0.6%. This follows a trend since 2004, where Belgian juice demand has decreased by 0.4% each year. On the export front, Belgian juice exports are anticipated to drop to about $917 million by 2028 from around $941 million in 2023, reflecting an average annual decline of 0.4%. However, this is in contrast to the slight growth in supply observed since 2004, which has seen a yearly increase of 0.1%.
