Maltese juice imports are projected to rise to approximately $4.9 million by 2028, up from around $4.7 million in 2023. This represents an average annual growth rate of 0.8%. Despite this growth, Maltese demand for juice has experienced a decline of 0.6% year-on-year since 1999. Conversely, juice exports from Malta have seen a significant drop. In 2018, exports plummeted to nearly $10,000, a sharp decline from $22,000 in 2017, marking a 56% decrease compared to the previous year. Over the long term, since 1999, Maltese juice supply has been falling at an average yearly rate of 52%.
