Costa Rican Gelatin import is set to drop dramatically by 18.7% year on year CAGR in the next five years. In 2021, the country was ranked 62nd in the world with 272,770 kilograms. Pakistan came ahead of them. Germany, the United Kingdom, and Belgium were the second, third, and fourth highest importers, respectively. Meanwhile, Costa Rica's gelatin exports experienced a whopping 3,300% year-on-year increase in 2017, rising from 1 kilogram in 2016 to 34 kilograms. Despite this surge, the country still saw a 51.1% year-on-year decrease in supply since 1999.
