Swedish Gelatin import is set to decrease by 1.6% year-on-year on average and reach 878,580 kilograms in 2026. This is down from 965,100 kilograms in 2021, when Sweden ranked 44th in the world. Lithuania came in ahead with the same amount. Germany, the United Kingdom and Belgium respectively ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th. Swedish Gelatin export saw a significant surge in 2018, attaining 407,340 kilograms compared to 177,000 in 2017, an increase of 130.1%. Since 2003, Swedish supply has climbed 202.1% year-on-year. This placed the country in 32nd place worldwide in 2018, with Estonia coming in ahead. Germany, Belgium and China were 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
