According to our research, the highest export of Maltese Gelatin was to Ukraine with 295 Kilograms, representing 75.6% of the total exports in 2015. Maltese Gelatin imports are set to rise 1.2% year on year to 155,560 kilograms by 2026. Since 1999, Maltese demand has grown by almost a quarter (23.8%) each year. In 2021, the country ranked 70th in the world for gelatin imports, behind Belarus with 144,090 kilograms. Germany, the United Kingdom and Belgium ranked second, third and fourth respectively. In 2015, Maltese gelatin exports grew dramatically, from 4 kilograms to 390 kilograms. The vast majority of exports (75.6%) went to Ukraine, with 295 kilograms.
