Bulgarian demand for gelatin is projected to grow by 1.8% year on year, reaching 621,870 Kilograms by 2026. This is an increase from 554,830 Kilograms in 2021, when Bulgaria was the 50th largest gelatin importer in the world. Estonia overtook the country in 2021, and Germany, the United Kingdom and Belgium took the second, third and fourth spots, respectively. Bulgarian gelatin exports are expected to reach 63,100 Kilograms in 2026, driven by a 3.7% year on year average rate of growth. This is an increase from 49,740 Kilograms in 2021, when Bulgaria was the 48th largest gelatin exporter in the world. Kenya overtook the country in 2021, and Germany, Belgium and China came in the second, third and fourth spots, respectively. Since 2001, Bulgarian gelatin supply had grown by 23.4% year on year.
